JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Electrician role located in Tewksbury, MA. The Electrician will be responsible for performing installation, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. The Electrician will also be responsible for troubleshooting electrical problems and working with electrical engineering drawings and specifications.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Installation of electrical materials
- Expertise in electricity and electrical work
- Knowledge of maintenance and repair of electrical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems and develop effective solutions
- Experience working with electrical engineering drawings and specifications
- Certification or licensure as an Electrician in the state of Massachusetts
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces
ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR
Role Description
This is a full-time role, onsite in Tewksbury Ma, for an Electrical Estimator. The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for estimating the cost of electrical projects, from $10,000 up to $6,000,000 ensuring that projects meet budget, and coordinating with the team to complete projects safely and efficiently. The Electrical Estimator will primarily work from our Tewksbury office.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 Years of Experience Estimating
- Electrical Estimating, Cost Control, and Electrical Contracting skills
- Excellent knowledge of electricity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Estimating Software
- Electrical Take Off Skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electrical estimating software
- Experience in the electrical industry, with a minimum of 3 years in an estimating role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
ELECTRICAL APPRENTICE
Role Description
Sylvester Electric is looking for Apprentice Electricians to join our team
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 Year of Experience in the field
- Responsible for assisting electricians with installing and maintaining electrical and power systems
- Assist in the installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations
- Works at construction sites, businesses, customer homes
- Required Education: High school or equivalent
- Required license or certification: Drivers’ License, OSHA10
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
